Hey it’s Ulysses, I've been in the residential solar business for a over a decade. With over 1208 homes served I take pride in the service I provide to my clients and their families. I believe that every home that can afford their power bill can't afford not to do solar.

We’ve seen so many people in our neighborhood putting solar panels up but didn’t know which company to trust. After researching online we narrowed it down to a few companies that seemed worthwhile. Ulysses came with the most competitive price for the 11.7kw system. He was the best representative I could ask for; I had a bunch of questions I asked each company and he seemed the most knowledgeable and genuine. Also I’d be happy to shoutout Ulysses's team for how nicely the panels lay on the roof, from the street you can’t even tell they’re up there. Only took those guys 4 hours to put 29 panels up!

We appreciate the patience and non pressure during our initial contact about potentially getting solar with affordable, it was a nice experience not feeling that pressure like they were out to get you, the rep was very calm and remained respectful and polite even though we didn’t go through with it at first we actually had them come back out a second time to go over everything and then decided it was a good. The process was right on point with how it was described and timeline was around 2 months. We had 1 delay with permitting that was quickly turned around resubmitted and passed. I tip my hat to the quick response from affordable to make sure that was addressed as soon as possible.

Extremely happy with Affordable. My HOA is super strict when it comes to adding things to the house, we had to put the Enphase box inside the garage to adhere to their codes and send pictures of EVERYTHING before we could proceed with the solar. I am very happy to be solar powered now, the new technology is amazing in it’s capabilities, the main goal was to drop the energy bill down to nothing and be able to cover the whole home’s consumption, they got me set up with a 21 panel system that does that. I have a standing seal metal roof. Ulysses the salesperson was by far the best of those that came out to give me quotes. He had the best understanding of codes, installation, equipment, and figured out how to get the max out of my roof. Ulysses was also very helpful in getting me what I wanted, I'm hard to please. Our property has an abundance of trees close to the house, I was concerned the panels would be shaded most of the day unless I cut down the majority of them and I knew my neighbors wouldn’t be thrilled about that. Ulysses ran a couple of layouts through his softwares and let me be involved in the design process. We had to trim back the trees that were over the roof of course but they reimbursed the cost. I’m very happy with how everything turned out & so far we haven’t sacrificed any production to the shading. Our roof layout made it difficult to group panels more than 3 deep in some spots; I was impressed we managed to fit 29 panels up there.

I’m really happy with how we were treated during this process, our sales rep Ulysses was very helpful and the communication was great he really handled everything if I’m being honest. They came out over the weekend and turned on our 20 panel system. It started producing and sending back immediately which was nice to see. They were great all around for me, I was very curious about solar for a good while now, I was doing research on various companies and had a couple come out. Ulysses's company were the only company that I felt as though there wasn't any pressure to make a deal with them, Ulysses was very kind and professional. It was very straight forward everything was laid out from top to bottom. The price was just as good as any other company that came and offered. The timeline from them was very good as well, the project took right around 45 days it flew by and before I knew it, I was saving right away on my electric bill. It's been some time now since it's been on the home and producing, I've been able to very easily monitor through the Enphase enlighten app that comes with the system, I get to see what it is producing in real time and its always have a peace of mind that the system is on, and all the panels are working as they should. I have already recommended a neighbor after they saw that it actually was working for me and covered my entire energy bill. Duke raised my rate around 24% in recent years and with no other solution to go with other than solar I am very happy I did and feel like I couldn't of chose a better company and feel like they gave me the best experience possible. My energy use has gone down now that I’m the only one living in the house but my bill was still much higher than I was happy with paying. Solar seemed like a great solution so started meet by with a few companies. Ulysses as a rep had the most competitive price. I’m not very tech savvy and don’t bother having WiFi n the house so I was worried about making sure the panels were working. Knowing Affordable would be able to see the panels and fix them if anything happed makes me very happy. I’ve seen lots of houses put up solar panels but they’re all ugly from the road, very pleased that the installers could hide the panels on the back side of the house.

Pleased that Ulysses gets alerted to problems with the system through Enphase rather than relying on me to monitor the app at all times. We weren’t home when the installers came by but I can attest that they cleaned everything up and the panels look great on the roof! Bradenton’s permitting department is notoriously slow apparently so that was the only time we waited during our project. All said and done it was finished in about 2.5 months. Ulysses was always available and checking in on us.

Every single person I worked with has been fantastic! Ulysses has been delightful as our representative, always checking in on us and making sure our project got down as quickly as possible.
